Refund, Recheck & Product Return Policy:

At Alexandra Vlad OD LLC, we are committed to providing high-quality eye care services and eyewear to ensure your vision needs are met with satisfaction. Below are our policies for eye exams, prescription glasses, and contact lenses:

Eye Exam Refunds

• Payment for eye examinations covers the time, expertise, and services of our doctors and staff during your appointment. Therefore, eye exam fees are non-refundable once services have been rendered.

• Cancellations & Rescheduling:

  • Appointments canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance will not incur any fees.

  • A no-show or same-day cancellation may result in a cancellation fee.

  • Repeated no-shows or cancellations may result in permanent dismissal from our practice, at the discretion of the provider.

Satisfaction Concerns

If you experience issues or concerns related to your eye exam, please contact us within 7 days of your visit. We are happy to discuss your concerns.

Prescription Glasses & Contact Lenses Recheck Policy

• If you experience any visual discomfort or difficulty adjusting to your new prescription glasses or contact lenses, you may request a complimentary recheck within 30 days of:

  • The date of product pick-up, or

  • The date shown on proof of purchase, whichever comes first.

• Before scheduling a follow-up appointment with us for a prescription recheck, we kindly ask that you verify with the optical shop where you purchased your glasses to ensure they were made according to the prescription provided by your eye doctor. This helps us determine whether any issues stem from the eyewear manufacturing process rather than the prescription itself.

• A single recheck is offered at no charge within the 30-day window.

• After the 30-day period, recheck appointments will be subject to a standard exam or consultation fee.

Prescription Adjustments

If a prescription change is necessary during your recheck, we will provide you with a printed copy of the updated prescription, which you can take to the optical shop of your choice for lens remaking. Please note that each optical shop has its own warranty and product return policies for eyewear, and Alexandra Vlad OD LLC is unable to intervene in or modify these policies.

Returns & Exchanges for Eyewear Products

• For returns or exchanges of eyewear products (glasses, contact lenses, etc.), please contact the optical shop where your purchase was made.
