Dr. Vlad has been a proud Villager for over six years. Before settling in The Villages, she completed an externship at The Villages VA and went on to complete her residency in Ocular Disease and Primary Eye Care at the William V. Chappell VA in Daytona Beach. She has a strong passion for adult and senior eye care, with years of experience working alongside renowned local cataract surgeons and specialty healthcare clinics.
 

Outside the clinic, Dr. Vlad enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and doting on her beloved cockatiels, Loki and Bogey. A dedicated traveler, she finds joy in exploring diverse cultures, religions, histories, and landscapes—and never misses a chance to try new foods along the way.
 

Her journey into medicine was inspired by a deep respect for the power of sight and its essential role in how we experience the world. Her mission is to help patients preserve and protect their vision so they can fully appreciate the beauty around them—and in turn, respect it.
